Refund & Return Policy

At Canterbury Mulch Delivery, we want our customers to be happy with the mulch they receive. Please read the following refund and return policy carefully before placing your order.

Change of Mind

Due to the nature of bulk mulch products, we do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind once the mulch has been delivered.

Please ensure you order the correct quantity before purchasing. If you are unsure how much mulch you require, feel free to contact us before ordering.

Delivery Issues

If there is an issue with your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery with photos and details of the problem.

We may offer a partial refund, replacement, or other resolution if:

  • The mulch delivered is significantly different from the product description
  • There is a major issue caused during delivery directly relating to our service

Product Information

Our mulch is made from recycled arborist material and is a natural product. Because of this, colour, texture, and composition may vary between loads.

While our mulch is aged and processed, small amounts of leaves, sticks, bark, or other natural material may still be present.

Access & Delivery Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring suitable and safe access for delivery vehicles before ordering.

If delivery cannot be completed safely due to limited access, soft ground, overhead obstacles, parked vehicles, or other site conditions, delivery fees may still apply.

We are not responsible for:

  • Damage to driveways, lawns, paving, underground services, irrigation, or surfaces where delivery has been requested
  • Damage caused where customers direct the driver to leave mulch in a specific location

Cancellations

Orders cancelled before dispatch may be eligible for a refund.

If the truck has already left for delivery or the mulch has been loaded, cancellation fees may apply to cover time, transport, and handling costs.

Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.
