Here's exactly how our mulch delivery service works.
Step 1: Work Out How Much Mulch You Need
The first step is working out approximately how much mulch your garden requires.
As a general guide, 1m³ of mulch covers around 10m² when applied 100mm deep.
For an existing garden that already has mulch, a lighter top-up may be enough. New garden beds or areas where weed suppression is important will normally benefit from a deeper layer.

Step 2: Choose Your Mulch Load
Once you know roughly how much you need, you can compare our available aged mulch load sizes.
Our mulch is locally produced arborist mulch that we age and turn for a minimum of eight weeks before delivery.
Rather than supplying freshly chipped material straight from tree work, we allow the mulch time to begin breaking down. This creates a darker, more stable product that's easy to spread and ready to use around gardens, trees and landscaped areas.

Step 3: Enter Your Address for a Delivery Quote
Delivery costs depend on how far your property is from our yard.
Instead of having a complicated delivery-zone price list to read through, you simply enter your address when ordering and the website will calculate the delivery charge for your location.
This means you'll know the cost of the mulch and delivery before completing your order.

Step 4: Tell Us Where You Want the Mulch Tipped
At checkout, leave clear instructions explaining where you'd like us to tip your mulch.
This might be:
- On the driveway
- Beside the garage
- On a suitable gravel area
- Near the garden
- In another open and accessible part of the property
The truck needs enough room to safely enter, raise the tipping deck and unload.
We cannot tip over fences or underneath low powerlines, and the requested area needs to be safe and accessible for the truck.
Our 8m³ load is delivered using a larger truck, so it requires more access than our smaller loads and may not be suitable for narrow or restricted driveways.

Step 5: Add Your Preferred Delivery Day
Most mulch orders are delivered within 1–3 working days.
You can add preferred delivery days or times in the order notes and we'll do our best to work around them.
You also don't normally need to be home for the delivery.
As long as we've got clear instructions and can safely access the requested tipping area, we can deliver your mulch while you're out.
This makes it particularly handy if you want a load waiting on the driveway ready for the weekend.
Step 6: We Deliver the Mulch
We load your order and bring it directly to your property using a tipping truck.
Once we arrive, we'll tip the mulch in the closest safe and practical location based on the instructions you've given us.
There's no trailer to organize, no loading mulch yourself and no filling your car or ute with loose wood chips.
Your entire order arrives in one bulk load, ready to spread.
Step 7: Spread the Mulch Around Your Garden
Once the mulch has been delivered, you're ready to go.
For most new garden beds, we recommend spreading mulch approximately 75–100mm deep.
This gives you a good layer for moisture retention, soil protection and weed suppression without unnecessarily overusing mulch.
Before spreading it, remove larger existing weeds and avoid piling mulch directly against tree trunks or plant stems.

How quickly can you deliver mulch?
Most orders are delivered within 1–3 working days. Delivery times can occasionally vary depending on our workload, weather and your location.
Do I need to be home when you deliver?
Usually, no. If you leave clear tipping instructions and we can safely access the property, we can normally complete the delivery while you're out.
Where will you tip my mulch?
We will aim to tip it in the location you've requested, provided it is safe and accessible for the truck. A driveway or suitable open area is normally best.
Can you tip mulch over a fence?
No. Our mulch is delivered using a tipping truck, so we cannot tip over fences.
Can you deliver underneath powerlines?
We need adequate overhead clearance to safely raise the truck deck, so we cannot tip underneath low powerlines.
What size loads do you deliver?
